Workshop 'Networking' for Refugee Talent Hub
Prospectory is a proud partner of Refugee Talent Hub (RTH) — an organization that brings employers and refugee talents closer together. From RTH received an invitation to give a workshop about networking on 28 November. The purpose of this workshop was to help these talents further in their careers and to teach them how to network in the business world in The Netherlands.
"While preparing this workshop I realized that these people have the need to be assisted in how to apply for jobs and to learn what is necessary for that," according to Sharief Niamut, who was the trainer. "I can imagine that it is a huge challenge for this target group to build a network in a country that you live in for a short time in addition to all the other matters you have to take care of for yourself. Let alone, to find a job that he/she aspires to. For me it was an inspiring challenge to look at their current situation with this group of people and to inspire and motivate them to take the proper steps in the direction of a suitable job."
The seven participants had very different backgrounds (from finance, technical, ICT to consultancy) and were very enthousiastic and eager to learn.
"I am grateful that I have been able to contribute to the possible realization of their dream job and hope sincerely that they will find it," according to Sharief Niamut.
